intro

sooo fluffy🥞☁️ exactly what i want on a slow sunday morning + preferably drowning in maple syrup

ingredients

  • 1½ cups AP flour
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 1½ tsp vanilla extract
  • butter, for the skillet

for serving

  • maple syrup
  • fresh berries

let's make it

  1. 01

in a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar

  2. 02

add the eggs, milk, and vanilla, then mix until just combined — don't overmix!

  3. 03

heat a buttered skillet over medium-low heat. scoop the batter into the pan and cook until bubbles form on top and the edges are set

  4. 04

flip and cook for another ~2 minutes, until golden

  5. 05

top with maple syrup, fresh berries, or anything you love & enjoy

notes

  • don't overmix the batter!! a few lumps are completely fine.
  • keep the heat around medium-low so the pancakes have time to get fluffy without burning on the outside.
