intro
sooo fluffy🥞☁️ exactly what i want on a slow sunday morning + preferably drowning in maple syrup
ingredients
- 1½ cups AP flour
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 1½ tsp vanilla extract
- butter, for the skillet
for serving
- maple syrup
- fresh berries
let's make it
- 01
in a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar
- 02
add the eggs, milk, and vanilla, then mix until just combined — don't overmix!
- 03
heat a buttered skillet over medium-low heat. scoop the batter into the pan and cook until bubbles form on top and the edges are set
- 04
flip and cook for another ~2 minutes, until golden
- 05
top with maple syrup, fresh berries, or anything you love & enjoy
notes
- — don't overmix the batter!! a few lumps are completely fine.
- — keep the heat around medium-low so the pancakes have time to get fluffy without burning on the outside.
