these cookies will convert anyone who "doesn't like" oatmeal raisin

ingredients

  • 8 tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1¼ cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup raisins

let's make it

    preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

    mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until combined. add the egg, milk, and vanilla and mix again

    add the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt and mix until just combined

    fold in the rolled oats + raisins

    scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving room between each cookie to spread

    bake for 10 minutes, then let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for another 10 minutes before moving them & enjoy

notes

  • don't overbake these — they'll continue to set on the hot baking sheet after they come out of the oven.
